We are organising a training day hosted at West London Go Club.

The intended audience is a) beginners b) double digit kyu c) single digit kyu

Strong players (ranging from 3-5 Dan) will be running lectures/tutorials/demonstrations) repeated in separate parallel streams so that every attendee will have a chance to attend all topics of most interest.

We are especially pleased that Guo Juan 5p will be offering a custom lecture for us all in the afternoon via KGS and her Internet Go School is sponsoring the day.

  • The best game in each of the simultaneous event will be awarded a 25 euro gift certificate for the school.

The event is also sponsored by the Central London Go Club and the Young Chelsea Bridge Club

The cost for the day is £10

09.00 – onward, registration

10.00 – beginners stream (1) -or- 1st lecture/tutorial

10.45 – beginners stream (2) -or- 2nd lecture/tutorial

11.30 – beginners stream (3) -or- simultaneous games with tutors

12.30 – lunch (the local area is very convenient for almost every cuisine)

13.30 – beginners stream (4) -or- 3rd lecture/tutorial

14.15 – beginners stream (5) -or- 4th lecture/tutorial

15.00 – lecture by Guo Juan with Q&A by Guo Juan

16.15 – wrap up, further Q&A

17.00 – Finish.
